Built over a sturdy wire armature with a solid wool core, the fox features a custom-blended coat of premium silk, alpaca, Gotland, and Merino fibers. Hundreds of tiny tufts were layered and carefully sculpted using specialized needles, razors, and scissors to create a lifelike texture. Her expressive eyes are detailed in wool, and her delicate whiskers are genuine horsehair.
The split-rail fence is formed from wire and blended wools, capturing the authentic look of hand-hewn, weathered wood set against wool-felted grass expanse. The entire piece is permanently secured inside a charming, vintage metal box, making it a perfectly contained, dramatic display piece for your home.
