This needle felted mouse emerges from a hole in a vintage wooden painted clock face, a find from The Barn At Todd Farm (Rowley, MA) . The mouse is built over a wire armature and has a solid wool core. The top coat is a custom blend of natural wool fibers. The whiskers are horsehair. The eyes are also wool with a speck of iridescent fiber for a hint of light reflection. The toes are wire wrapped with pink wool thread and finished with beeswax to create tiny claws. The clock face is primarily an antiqued butter yellow color with stylized pale pink flowers and green leaves. Measures 6.75 inches wide, 6.5 inches tall, .5 inch deep. Signed.
