Heather first came upon sweetgum tree pods on the ground during a walk in the Sandwich (Massachusetts) historic district. Curious about the spikey orbs, she loaded her pockets and brought them home knowing something beautiful could be made with them. Once in the studio, she combined them with her collection of glass beads, metal bells, and vintage copper, to create these ethereal nature-inspired bibelot—ornaments to be enjoyed throughout the year.
