This ethereal, enchanting white moth was made using a variety of materials and techniques. The moth’s body is wire wrapped with wool and art yarn. The furry head area was needle felted with a custom blend of alpaca, silk, and firestar. The same fibers where used to create the antennae. The eyes are glass beads and mouth is embroidery floss. The delicate legs are wire wrapped with silk and secure with beeswax. The wings are silk and organza. 3.25 wide and long.
