Meet Angus, a needle-felted Scottish Terrier. Dogs are a rare subject for Heather’s work. Angus was inspired by a pair of Scotties she and her husband often see on their evening walks. She loves watching their full black skirts sway as they prance across the grass.

Angus is built over a wire armature and has a solid wool core. The top coat, or fur, is a custom blend of goat mohair, baby alpaca, merino, silk, and New Zealand cross. The eyes are wool and nose is air-cured clay. The dog collar is embroidered silk with a handmade wire buckle. Initialed on the underside.

Angus should be handled for the purpose of display only in order to maintain the integrity of his well-groomed coat. Frequent handling will further felt his long fibers. Keep out of reach of young children and pets. Avoid display in direct sunlight.
