A little mouse deftly balances atop an apple, savoring each juicy bite.

The needle-felted mouse is sculpted over a wire armature with a solid wool core. Its custom-blended topcoat combines mohair, alpaca, and Corriedale wool, applied in delicate layers of tiny tufts and carefully sculpted with scissors and felting needles. Glass eyes and horsehair whiskers bring the tiny creature to life. Each petite toe is crafted from wire wrapped with wool and secured with beeswax to create its tiny claws. The apple features a solid wool core and custom-felted topcoat, complete with a wool-wrapped wire stem and a felted wool leaf.

A freeform, teal wet-felted wool base, accented with embroidered stitching, completes the scene.
