A little mouse cautiously emerges from the safety of a weathered log, unaware of the lady bug slowly crawling along the rough surface just above.
The needle felted mouse is built over a wire armature and has a solid wool core. The top coat is a custom blend of alpaca and angora rabbit applied in a layered array of tiny fiber tufts and sculpted with scissors and felting needles to create a realistic pelt. The eyes are wool with a hint of iridescent fiber reflection. The tiny toes are wire wrapped with wool. The whiskers are horsehair. The lady bug is hand molded and painted epoxy and wire. Both the mouse and lady bug are permanently secured to the real wood log. Measures 7.5 inches from nose to tail tip and 2.25 inches tall.
This is not a toy. Keep ouf of reach of young children and pets. Avoid display in direct sunlight.
