Bunny Cup

Bunny Cup
This soft, life-like needle felted bunny finds rest snuggled securely in an old tin cup.
The cup was purchased from an Chester, Vermont antiques store. The fibers that make the fur is a custom blend of angora rabbit, merino, and alpaca purchased from a Laurel Ledge Farm in Florence, Massachusetts, during a trip to the 2024 Massachusetts Fiber and Woolcraft Fair in the beautiful town of Cummington (MA).
The bunny is permanently secured into the cup. The fur was applied in a layered array of tiny tufts of fiber, then sculpted with scissors and felting needles to create a soft, natural pelt. The eyes are wool with a hint of iridescence for light reflection. The whiskers are horsehair. The cup diameter is 3.5 inches (excluding handle). The height from the cup base to the ear tips is 4 inches.
This is not a toy. Keep out of reach of young children and pets. Avoid display in direct sunlight.
