This trio of fantastical purple mushrooms creates an ethereal setting that includes moss, an acorn, dew, and a snail. The base is an antique wood carved vase base found in a Vermont antiques shop. The moss and grasses are wool locks. The acorn cap is natural with a felted nut. The mushrooms have a wire armature and solid wool core. The caps were made with a wet felting technique. The snail antennae are wire wrapped with wool and accented with beeswax. A tiny touch of iridescent fiber gives the overall piece of hint dewy sparkle. Base diameter: 4.5 inches. Overall height: 6.5 inches. Signed.
