The needle-felted mouse is built over a wire armature and has a solid wool core. The top coat is a custom blend of fibers including mohair, alpaca, and corriedale. These fibers were applied in a layered array of tiny tufts then sculpted with scissors and felting needles. The eyes are wool with a hint of iridescent reflection. The whiskers are horsehair. The tiny toes are wire wrapped with embroidery floss and secured with beeswax to create tiny claws. The apple has a solid wool core, custom top coat, stem of wool-wrapped wire with a wool leaf accented with embroidered stitches. The lady bug is made with wire and epoxy, then painted. The green expanse is wet felted wool finished with abblanket stitch edge. The mouse, apple, and ladybug and permanently secured to the green wool base. The base measure 8 × 4 inches. The mouse is 4 inches tall at the ear tips. Initialed on the underside.
