Is seems the tiny wren will nest just about anywhere! Here, a needle felted Carolina wren has made a nest of hay in a vintage metal vase.

The life-size needle felted wren is made from a custom blend of 100% wool. The bird and hay have been fixed into the vase and cannot be removed. The vase, found in a Massachusetts antique store, is made from metal with the look of worn silver plate and casts a warm silvery hue. The entire piece measures 9 inches tall to the bird tail tip and 6 inches wide at the vase rim.
