This grey bunny was inspired by the grey skies of spring and the promise of summer blossoms to come. It is built over a wire armature and has a solid wool core. The top coat is a custom blend lustrous fiber including silk, merino, alpaca, and Corriedale. This piece was made with the long fiber application technique where small tufts of wool were applied in a layered array then sculpted with precision scissors. The effect is a natural looking fur with sheen, dimension and texture. The eyes a wool with a hint of iridescent sparkle. The whiskers are horsehair. 8.5 inches from nose to tail tip and 4.5 tall at the ear tip. Signed on the underside.
