Named after Mr. Rochester’s dog in the classic book, Jane Eyre, Pilot is a needle felted Irish Wolfhound (even though author Charlotte Bronte described the canine as black and white and is often depicted as a Newfoundland).
This needle felted dog measures 7.5 inches long and 5.5 inches tall. It is built over a wire armature. Fibers include Gotland and Romney with accents of yak. It is loosely felted to capture the dramatic and wild look of the breed. Fine detail include eyes, an open mouth with a hints of teeth, tongue, paw pads—all made from wool. Wire nails complete the details.
This is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Intended for display only. Handle with care.
